Then it will become non-fiction. We'd probably start making up stories of digital dragons and Merlin will need a space helmet and his wand will shoot out computer programs.

it's sci-real
Look at what the world is like now.
Put yourself in the boots of a soul 100+ years ago and beyond.
Oh yeah they'd marvel at all the toys and innovation.
And up to this very moment in time...
...then...
they'd look past that ...
all the flashy stuff...
all the shiny distraction..
all the advancement..
right quick.... to how we treat one another...
the massive disparity of wealth...
and the continued buffet of this planet ...treating it like an endlessly supplied meal...
STILL.
And there would be no question about sci-reality...
it would'nt even be a question of what kind of flavour of sci fi...
Our whole species desire NOT to make things better and actually do the work... spells out Dystopian sci fi / sci fact...world we are entering.
Our best hope to "right" the ship ...so-to-speak ...
not only for us ..but all life on earth...I am beginning to believe not only rests with our sciences...
But I do believe now that the critical decisions and solutions (which we may have or may soon have) must be taken out of our control to be implemented ...since I do believe we would never willingly implement them ourselves.
