, and waiting for the next nit iteration - which may only bring wimax and leave the storage as is.

As it is - I always feel like I might have spend my money better by getting a bluetooth GPS (but then again - more devices, more chargers etc...)

FM Radio - don't miss it. It's a dying technology, here in the UK DAB radio will replace it and render FM useless.

I own both the N800 and the N810, and I've not touched my N800 since I got my N810. Literally, not touched. It's better in every way that I can think of.
2) My slider is firm, though I've heard others have had issues. None here tbh so *shrugs* no comment.
3) Battery life is as good as the N800. Literally no difference.
Recommendations:
Better transreflective screen - you can see it in the sunlight!
Smaller - I know it's only slightly smaller - but one thing that makes it better is that it's a square block - the N800 has that slight ebb at the edge which makes it awkward.
True USB OTG socket - if you have the cables there's no need to faff with USB scripts.
Keyboard - just don't "think about pressing the keys" - I mash away at them and it works and works well at that! On the train I can't type anything on the touchscreen, mashing away at the keypad is a Deitysend. I can type pretty quickly on it too! Despite that I still bought the iGo Stowaway for prolonged use since I can type much faster on a larger keyboard.
Mutlicoloured LED - The LED is already being used to relay status information. I imagine better use of the LED in the future with certain apps.
I'm not too fussed about not having the extra SD slot; nor the fact that it's MiniSD. ok - it is a little annoying - but I don't tend to carry terabytes of information around with me. If push came to shove it's easy enough to lug around another MicroSD card
Onboard 2GB storage - more and more software will take this into account as it's guaranteed to be there on the N810.
FM Radio - don't miss it. It's a dying technology, here in the UK DAB radio will replace it and render FM useless.
Since getting the N810 my N800 has been pushed aside
Cons:
Price - the difference is SUBSTANTIAL. Would I pay for it....debatable; especially given that I have an N800. I got mine on the developer discount (thank you Nokia.)
GPS lock times are LOOONG. It'll get there eventually, but not quickly enough.
Keyboard is small - it's great to have it there, but I don't suggest typing war and peace on it.
No 2ndary SD slot - it'd be nicer to have another slot like the N800 just because. While we're at it it'd be nicer still to have 3, 4, 5, etc more slots
All I can say is that I now use the N810 with 8GB MicroSD (for a total of 10GB storage) all the time despite having an N800 with 16GB of storage and despite having an iGo and a bluetooth GPS that I can use for both.
