Then go go go Pichlo.
we know they still read here, maybe you are right

Full featured support and discount on a Sailfish Fairphone 2 would be nice for me personally.

But more propable seems the intex device with discount, as i speculated earler.
Maybe they even make a fuss over "It is strictly available in india, only as a special deal we provide it to our backers outside india"!?

Don't read the historical files:

Our first tablet product will come to the market during Q2/2015, with an excellent Intel chipset, great screen, and new versions of the Sailfish UI. The multitasking experience of the Jolla tablet will be the best in the market. That’s a promise. And, of course, we would not be a device and software company if we did not have new devices on our roadmap. Stay tuned for news about this.(1)

Now I expect that those who pre-ordered the Jolla Tablet during August-September 2015 are asking “what about my tablet?” Well, we will certainly ship yours too, but only after fulfilling our early Indiegogo backers contributions. According to the current plan, this will also happen during December 2015.(2)

Crowdfunder backers of the Jolla tablet who haven’t yet received their slate should also expect more shipping delays. “This will have an impact [on shipping of the slate] but not a huge impact if we succeed with the December financing,” adds Saarnio.(3)

A summary for the jar.(4)

Not really looked into the Intex device until now, but it seems like most of the range is under £100, so what else are they gonna send on top!
Free t shirt? Hat?

If more complete, what could that entail? It's all speculation as to the "surprise" could be.

okay, my other thought is that they will laser etch the backers names into the Moon...
The community port is nothing - I have yet to see one that fully works. I hope they know it won't compensate anything

They would not give any license same as they would not opensource.
1st reason:
There are 3rd parties involved (android support e.g.)
2nd reason:
They want to be in full control of the product.

Btw what would be the difference between someone who made port for free and between licensed one? Support? What kind of support if they still fighting with support of jPhone that lacks a lot of features and still have limitations(APIs e.g.) and bugs that still not fixed. They even lack of proper store, after couple of years they still do not have paid apps support that was promised by them long time ago
So i think soon all backers would get more "soons".
You can laugh at us and be happy that jolla is still not bankrupted, but it only means they did not disappear and now have even more problems than they had before and were still failing to deliver promised things, even backed up projects. But yeah, keep bashing us for pointing out obvious things

That is one interpretation

I see it more like: the board has now authorized a draft plan with budget and resources. Now sailors are doing the final planning by finding out what is possible and what is not within budget, resources and external factors. Because the plan is not yet written in stone they are not telling more about it.

"feel free to speculate" is a case of PR language to try to give people something to do while they get their plan together. And if they are wise they will of course take into consideration feedback and ideas from the community until the plan is finalized.

I want 3 Jolla Stickers as compensation. One for every $100 dollar I gave the tricksters.

If Jolla don't take this seriously then neither should we

'feel free to speculate ' means: fight amongst yourselves for a couple of months, cos we really don't have a clue what to do next!

Why are people even bringing Fairphone into this? They're already shipping the Fairphone 2 - they are not going to retroactively port Sailfish onto a product that has been finalized. Perhaps things will change if the Fairphone 3 gets released next year. Anyway - I am not sure why anyone would want to pay €530 for old hardware, despite Fairphone's laudable goal.
