The oddly is what doesn't sit. Jolla has the money, they are offering refunds therefore they can pay for the tablets.

As for the 'asset liquidation', it would be ok to sell them with stickers over the logo, and with no mention of Jolla. The description should nor refer to the campaign, and especially not lift the artwork from it. I can't belive you're defending these vultures.

Thank you, you made my day. I do not remember the last time any TMO post had made me burst out laughing like this.

It forces you to think that Jolla hasn't offered yet to pay for those built tablets. The factory just wants to make money and not lose any money.

I'm not defending their actions. I know how businesses run and if you were sitting on top of 2000+ devices that are sitting there, gathering dust and whatnot, I'd sell them too. And without a sticker on any logo - why lose even more money?

Why would you do after you've waited a reasonable amount of time?

I think we should put Iceland in charge of this world.

Iceland is a beautiful place. Enjoyed the spas and even the puffin was delicious! Actually much less expensive to fly there nowadays.

Then why are they offering some tablets, and refunding the others? Why are orders not opened again?

"I'm not defending their actions." <defends their actions>

I can sort of understand why they'd offer them for sale when it looked like Jolla was going bankrupt, but there's no good reason not to withdraw them when they recovered. What they're trying to do is maximize their return by selling the tablets to *you again*. That's why they have Jolla branding all over them, to get you to buy them.
