I've found an ebay auction selling a copy of Navicore Personal 2007 (with bluetooth GPS device and software).

I'm not sure if the software is even OS2007 compatible - It might be the symbian version, but could I still use the perpetual license in the Wayfinder software?

Bump.

So nobody has an answer? Guess it'll be best to get the bluetooth GPS on it's own and just sign up for a three year license.

You should ask WayFinder, not here.
They will for sure able to answer.
Did you check their home page, in the FAQ section ?

I checked their FAQ page, and it mentioned being able to transfer your old key from Navicore, but every post I've seen confirming this talks about Navicore for the NiT (Not Symbian). Plus the ask-a-question this seemed a bit buggy, and wouldn't submit :/

Having just activated Wayfinder from a new Navicore Kit, I can say that it works just fine. Just tell Wayfinder that you're entering a license key, and enter the one that comes with Navicore (you need net access when you do this). It'll automatically recognize the key as a Navicore key, and activate the advanced functions of Map.

Now if only I could get them to fix the darned gps-speed-only-displays-in-km/h bug, I would actually want to use the program instead of Maemo Mapper (750MB for the Google Street tiles for one city is a bit much for me).

Thank you for that I will make the investment for the Navicore and GPS package, rather than just the GPS. Does the Navicore licence translate into a three year one or stay unlimited?
