    Looks like custom UI.
Photoshop? What kind of menus is that hope we don't have that Turing logo menu in real life.

I am pumped !! a bit disappointed about the specs (a bit much)
right now it looks to me like iphone running sailfish.. and i don,t like iphones.. so i hope for

    1. a actual release
    2. headphone jack
    3. micro usb
    4. changeable batt would be nice not necessarily
And i do believe that these specs will change because of us. they drop Android so people who will actually buy a turing phone have high standards.. I mean all the apple fanboys will not touch this phone and android people will not even know what it is... So that leaves us i believe so..therefore change the specs and i,m on board..

Really hope this is going to be a nice one

Unless they hired Yves, it looks like one of his Sailfish inspired designs that he posts now and then.

Edit: Or is it Yves photoshop skills that are fooling me?

    Specs

    PLATFORM
    Sailfish OS 2.0
    Turing Æmæth UI

So they can make some mods?. I think that is going to be on right from the home screen.

I like it! So racing and tough build I want that Dark wyvern

It's one of Yves' cool Photoshop creations I'm pretty sure he took it from here: https://youtu.be/h7C6yGgWVX4?t=48s (Video from July 2015)

I really have no clue what is going on in that picture. Touching something, but doing what? A side profile of something, a set of controls and... um. No clue.

Even though confirmed as a Photoshop attempt, I hope they do not listen to this.

    All my regular humour aside...
there are two things that really rub my fur the wrong way with the "Turing" phone...

1- However a brilliant genius Turing was and how instrumental his work...his end was truly ignoble...disgraced by an establishment and society that at that time was ignorant...yes it was the given norm ...and today's standard practice of behaviour will...in half a century from now...will (hopefully) be that much more enlightened and kind and view us today as barbaric rude uncouth clods...yet still...his end was tragic...naming a device line after tragedy is like naming your boat "the unsinkable titanic 2" ...begging the god Murphy ...in all his fury... to bring down the hammer of his Law.

2- In part mentioned in the above #1 ...
the sheer audacity and nerve to call a product after a gifted individual and use the name as a sled ...a toboggan ...to ride upon...is a depth...a low I would ethically and morally won't ever go near.

In the same vein I will never buy Jimi Hendrix Vodka (since he choked to death on his vomit from drink and now people are actually making money off not only the nature of his death but his good name as well...)
Likewise there are a wholeeeeee list of car and truck names I would never ever ever ever even think of buying ...since they were named after indigenous peeps who were eradicated ...
Here in North America it is a norm to utterly destroy a "thing" and then name something else after it.
Dig up a whole hillside ...turn it into mall and parking lot and name it after the lovely stand of trees that "was" there...
Fill in and pave over marsh, river, stream and brook ...and name a new sub-division after the beauty of what "was" there...

It is a revolting, despicable and loathsome practice.
In short I tend to shy from endorsing such disgusting behaviour...
and so would on matter of morality and ethic (not principal ...this goes faaaar beyond principal) ..I would never own a device called the "Turing"

I have always known exactly where the physical "boundary" of "civilization" I wish to live at...right down to the physical distance I need from this societal behaviour ...where the destruction starts and the naming of the streets begins...
the little community I live in is pretty much one of the last outposts of civil society...and when it starts turning here...it will be time to move further away..for my own soul's peace as much as anything
and hence have always lived at the edge of what seems creation....
Visiting and travel is nice and all and I love it...
but what is happening wholesale and how fast humanity is running to that ..divorced-from-the-natural-world future...it is a future that I find intriguing...but I honestly cannot follow...
