I think Jolla set all backers money as donations be default and you need to request refund when it will available to get it - otherwise it's donations
AFAIK they have info in FAQ in tablet blog post regarding donating your money

The Finnish company isn't legally allowed to accept donations. It's just a debt that you never collect. I wonder if it ever legally expires.

I dont think Its going to be worth very much in the near future, apart from a few collectors. The fact that is was part of a failed project does not make it valuable. It might increase in value in 10 or 20 years when Sailfish is the no:1 mobile platform.


PS Jolla HAVE to supply Tablets in the order that orders were placed, any other way and their ship will be set alight and sunk in the s**** storm that would follow!

If they send it to 540 scalpers, tough, and if those people can make some money from it, good for them.

Their money is just as good as your , as mine and any one elses.

I only can find one exception on the uncomplete list, it was gaelic who resold recently and had backernumber ~800 presumably.

We guessed it would be 250 tablets in first wave from highest backer number that has recieved a tablet, but only 121 where sent and i do not believe the "32gb skip" was the only reason to not recieve a tablet in first wave, else i would have propably gotten one with 64gb pledge and #161.

Fair this time would be to contact backers in order, set a deadline to pay tax and settle disputes with people who think they should have been invited this time.
See who skips the deadline, then have another round in next continous order including positive solved disputes.
Maybe even more roiunds if many people skip and want a refund.
Then ship to all confimed and payed orders.

They should just refund everyone, then maybe they can borrow one of these from the fresh prince...

Well, I think I'll take the refund but earmark it for a Jolla related product (not current phone) once they get their sea legs and offer something nice.
