    Hi.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but anyway I would like to share a simple python script I made to keep track of the CellId the device is camped. I use it with SecureFishNet with a dual purpose:

1.- Activate the WiFi connection while I'm at home
2.- Deactivate WiFi (to avoid broadcast of the mac address) and activate the internet PDPContext and an VPN connection while I'm outdoors.

The script checks a file with a list of CellId numbers and decides whether we are at home or not.

    You can find it here.

I made it myself because I missed the beautiful features from ajalkane's ProfileMatic for the N9.

    Regards.

Check out the Situations app on the Jolla Store and Openrepos. It's like Profilematic, and is really powerful and well designed.

    Hi.
I tried it but it doesn't have the option to trigger actions based on CellId numbers....

Nice idea and a good script. The default wifi settings on SFO are messed up.

Hi, i just installed ssh-contact direct from the fedora repo
    http://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/fe...24.armv7hl.rpm
    without repackaging.
    Seems to work pretty well.
ssh-contact is some kind of addon to telepathy which allows you to ssh through a xmpp-connection to a remote computer running ssh-connect-server.
This is useful to access a machine without the need of dynamic dns and port-forwarding.

I just wanted to let you know - maybe someone find it useful.
