It feels faster*. LED is a PITA but rest is really nice.

(* Unknown how much the speed is related to the fact it doesn't use btrfs.)

What gives you that idea? Twice the RAM, twice the CPU Cores, extra LTE band, more pixels...

Ok the GPU is maybe a bit less, so i'll give you that but the rest seems like a decent spec bump for not much money.

It was established that even though model-c has 4 cores they have significantly less oomph than the 2 cores on sbj-1.
Whether the number-of-cores can compensate is unknown.

Did anybody test it with make -j4 on jolla kernel, for example, at least, to claim so?

Not sure if common knowledge (did not see it on tjc), but you can still install adblock, just need the older version (2.6.6.1 for example):
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...rsions/?page=5
Did not manage to disable the non-intrusive ads as the checkbox is unreachable, but copying elemhide.css and patterns.ini from the old phone fixed that (you can see all the xuls here: chrome://adblockplus/content/ui/ but need to enter the address manually, firstRun works to setup the filter subscriptions), also removed the url from about:config where it downloads the whitelist for non-intrusives, will see if that worked, or they come back

I prefer to block them in the hostsfile with this solution: https://openrepos.net/content/nodevel/hosts-adblock
