Well, FWIW I got my contacts over from Outlook with no trouble. It's nice to have them in GPE, but unless I'm mistaken there's limited usefulness as one cannot initiate a new e-mail message directly from the contacts app. I used the free trial of this- http://vcardwizard.4team.biz/ the advantage of which was allowing me to create .vcf files 5 at a time. I then saved them to a temp folder on MMC2, and imported them one at a time into the gpe contacts. Much like Betty Woo and others, I could not get any type of batch processing to work. I tried to find the file folder where the contacts are stored, but was not able to. Format looked pretty good, just put the state ahead of the city, but not a big deal. As with the calendar, PC Suite for N800 sure would be nice...

    Hi folks...
I have 395 contacts, and although I have a bit of Linux knowledge, I did not want to mess with scripts and all that stuff So here's a way that took me 10 minutes :
I tried, then bought "vSync" from http://www.4team.biz/
I exported my 395 "Outlook 2003" contacts to a single vCard file, downloaded it to my tablet, and imported it to the "MyContacts" app.
Now, I'm lucky : can send sms and sipcall them ;-)
    cheers,
    XooH

Hi, I have just imported my contacts from my pc to the gpe contacts and I want to backup this gpe contact list from n800 to my pc any folder but I couldn't find this saved file anywhere with file manager or gpe file manager. Where is this saved gpe contacts list file?
