I got an 8gb micro sd card the other day to put videos on to watch while i'm traveling. it worked fine up until yesterday when it gave me the "incorrectly formatted or corrupted" message. i reformatted and it worked fine. now it's not working again, giving me the same message, and now formatting doesn't work. the computer is able to read and play the card fine, and the n810 can read my other 128 mb card fine. why me? can anyone help? i've read a few of the forums on here and it seems that others are experiencing similar problems. i don't really understand the jargon though, so simple terms are good.

i got off the phone with nokia a minute ago, for anyone else experiencing this problem, they say that if i don't have a nokia brand micro sd card they can't help me. i think they guarantee the nokia card to work and that other brands may have compatibility issues. so moral of the story, be weary of using a sandisc product in this thing, although the nokia phones work fine with them. here's the nokia support # in case anyone else has this problem with a nokia brand card or otherwise 1-888-665-4228

There's been some discussion previously about some microSD/microSDHC cards not working properly in some micro-to-mini adapters. If you can borrow or cheaply purchase another adapter, you might see if swapping your adapter out helps the situation.
