hello, i'm sharing n900 dev chroot i'm using personally. what is it? i took few sdk packages, unpacked them locally, fixed some bits and odds, installed even more packages (all from fremantle sdk repo) and in effect i have functional NATIVE ARM chroot (maemo specific services aren't started) to create and test software before pushing to extras. i'm using it on my orange pi pc to create oscp packages (i have similar chroot for N8x0 too). it's an alpha release (just chdir dump) at the moment but should work. to use it, unpack somewhere on your arm linux and run the script inside (could probably work even on n900 itself, didn't try it).
unpacked size is ~400MB. and now, the link: http://31.135.195.151:20280/maemo/n900_sdkchroot.tar.xz

Thanks!
Downloaded. Will test when I have some time. Can you confirm that the md5 is (for the .tar.xz file): 03a0c44e11c3e6d7af207889bd3cdff3 |

ahm, right, forgot to put some checksum. yes, it's correct (and also added .md5 file just for completeness).
PS. if you run the starting script and break it somehow, remember to check for mount binds before removing files
