[Palm OS] Medical junk on Garnet?

    Greetings all!

So yeah, I've never tried Garnet before and I've never used a Palm Pilot before either.

I am curious though if any of these applications and programs will work with this emulator.

I know that this is quite an extensive list, but please respond if you know if any of these might work correctly on a Nokia N800 running through Garnet VM on a 2008 OS.

    Thanks.

I have used various skyscape programs which have all worked ok. You might well run into trouble with calculator programs as they may depend on mathlib.prc which causes problems. I use medcalc on my treo and it appears to run fine on my n800 until you try to calculate anything when you get nonsense. So really you have to try and see. The other thing to remember is your are limited to main storage in your Garnet emulator - no SD card so you can only install so much. I found things were much more stable when I started running off an OS cloned to the sd card which gives you more memory on the N800 for programs.

    Thanks for the response imtab!

A quick question for you. Have you ever heard of Kaplan's videos?

Supposedly it's one of the best resources out there, but it looks like an overall 96 gig download to get this.

That's pretty excessive and would probably blow up my computer, especially considering that my E-machine is a real piece.

Care to give any advice to a fellow friend trying to find his way through med school?

I'm not really looking to cheat, but it would be especially nice to narrow down the information needed to get there.

Thanks again. Hope to hear back from you.
