This is another thread that has been ongoing in case you guys (and gals) looking for 770 cases have missed it...

    http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ead.php?t=1719

It's a leather flip-style case made just for the 770, meaning you can use the 770 without removing it from the case. The PDair cases are very high-quality, I have had one on my libretto u105 for the last 8 mos., and it is great...

I ordered mine a week ago, should be here this week sometime...a few others already have theirs and so far so good. The best part, only $28 with free shipping from PDair, which is less than the one linked in the post above from the calculator accessory store...and that one is just a generic fit case...

I was waiting for the PDair case as well, but with no magnet to trip the standby mode, and a clasp that affixes *under* the unit (will not lay flat when closed, covers charging port), I've decided to just stick with my modified Caselogic case

Thanks for the heads up though! There are a lot of them available on ebay now.

I wish someone would just come out with a nice, protective, leather case that I can store the unit in -- with the slip cover on!

I have been carrying my 770 in a small brown mesh Walker zipper case. It was $10 and the color matches the unit perfect. Fits well too. It looks cool & hip, but offers no cushioning protection. I really wish someone would sell a very high quality padded leather case that would let you store the 770 with the protective cover on. That would be so nice.

thanks anyway, but I was looking for something to carry my 770 closed, including its shell, as hdtravel says.

The Sony PSP slip-case works great, with or without the hard-shell cover, and it is very well padded. It looks as if it were made for the 770, and the 770 slides in and out very easily. I've been using this since day 1, and will continue to until my pdair case arrives...

One other side benefit to the PSP case - they are cheap...you can find them used at all of the video game stores...

I have the case below. It holds both the 770 ( including shell ) and my Freedom Mini Kb. It has a loop for spare stylus and a brass belt clip. Ther is also just space for the power adapter cable and usb converter.

    Hello all,

I have just received a case handmade, you can find several photos at http://www.n770.net.

It has 2 sockets to RS MMC cards, 3 for credit cards and 1 to carry some money you can carry on with a nice clip.

I like it, only problem is that you have to charge with case opened.

    Regards,
    Ipae

Nice case, i hadn't seen that on their site...

Piel Frama makes some nice cases, but they always use that magnetic clasp that fastens on the bottom like that...same as the PDair case...

The best flap design I have seen is from EB Cases...they embed small magnets under the flap and case that hold it shut. I have had 4-5 of theirs over the years, and they are fantastic.
