Because more people will find the project?

If the HW is exactly the same (including the display panel) won't this mean that there needs not be any special SFOS build for this tablet but it instead can use the official build of the original Jolla Tablet?
(what I mean; the store does not differentiate between Jolla Tablet and Youyota Tab, they both look exatly same to the Jolla servers?)

Together with higher visibility and "already known procedures", the following is not to be understated:
At least with fixed-amount projects (can't remember what they are really called), the backers can be sure that no money is taken before the alotted/required minimum amount is reached. That in itself is a motivation for a lot of people to just try it – fighting the "nobody want's to be first"-syndrome. Not really relevant for most of us here for this project (most of us would trust chen to do right), but can be huge when trying to get backers outside of TMO.

Yeah the plexible funding is usually a big red flag for campaign at igg, if they don't reach the goal they still get to keep the moneyz.

Another big difference, which causes the trust difference between IGG and KS, is that KS requires a working prototype, don't allow photorealistic renders (although a lot of campaigns have them) and if the product appears to be a scam or defy physics/thermodynamics they will shut it down. IGG basically has no moderation so there are A LOT of scam projects unfortunately.

Stil, Chen seems to be on the way to make a nice working proto before the end of the campaign, so should be alright!

I guess I mean for people here, it might get things rolling if they got some pre orders.
And as we have seen mo' people, mo' money, mo' problems

Why KS instead of IGG? Its crowedfunding - you have no rights anyway. So how can anyone favor a site

It's the dude behind the campaign that matters.

I vote both IGG and KS.

I did that, but how did that help when a 100ish poeple, multimillion compony like jolla couldn't deliver? How would a prototype help preventing a scam?

So jolla campaign would have shutdown at KS?

I still think site is irellevant when it comes rules, number of members are more relevant. So which one is bigger?

It's a just fake security you made up. That's my view.
