    The number was still the same. However, after creating vending-2 and chattr-ing it, Play Store failed to auto update and is now working.

    yes you can remove contents of vendor data also

    I am using this Yalp Store proposal as a work arround. it was right now the most efficient way of continous access to play store.

    I had the same problem on my Nexus 4. The fix was the same, downgrade store and chatter -i the apk.

    Hi there. tried all the steps on my Aquafish and now it says google store can't install because i'm out of space. I have a clean install with a few minor apps installed on it. Any help will be great

    Updated:
    Over the night Play Store installed by itself
    Now i want to follow the steps to stop it from upgrade and in terminal i get the following
    cannot touch 'touch /opt/alien/data/app/com.android.vending-1.apk' : Permission denied
    Any ideas
