Yes. The version I posted is by Zager and Evans. Evans wrote the song a few years earlier. It was actually a number one hit in the US and UK in the summer of 1969. I remember it well...Thanks for the other versions!

Absolutely! Though I always assumed it was 25 comma 25. As in 1925, only doubled for emphasis. I never really tried to follow the lyrics, the tune was good enough
I wonder when we get to the year 2525, if we would even still number the years the same way and if we do, would anyone still remember what the numbering actually means.
