I am not worried. Free from the oppressive shackles of the EU, Britain will soon return to coal powered engines.
I am all for no cars in any major city center around the world, then expand area when batteries are better and less energy consuming to create and use.

Hydrogen is the major component of Dihydrogen Monoxide, or DHMO. Beware!
Yeah. Undortunatly delivery Vans and Lorries Will have to be exluded from ban in the early game for cities centers. For the transportation of food/goods they should instead focus on improving the movements between cities and countriess
Speaking of tesla...
I literally... just bought an interesting bicycle yesterday...
this is a pic of someone else's ..
haven't had a chance to take a pic of mine yet...
But it is one of the few pics I have seen online in my colors...
sucker does 32km / h straight up the mountains here...
I stretched her out yesterday on road and trail...as soon as I picked it up in the morning...
spent all day on it...
it uses tesla -esque battery tech.
I can attest that with both batteries ..fully charged ...on a straight and flat...it would get 150km distance on a full charge before recharging...
Flat and Hilly terrain...drop it by 25 km ...
Nothing but Mountainous...most certainly drop it possibly 50km ...
still not bad..
costs about .25 cents Canadian to fully charge it...
Got Panasonic batts....a new tech being used.....supposed to be long lasting ..and not just the 150 km distance..but alike an estimated 9 year base life expectancy too..
Bosch motor...
a number of big companies got involved with this bike...
Thing sprints faster than a gazelle off the mark..Gotta brace your neck if you do it from a dead standstill...faster than anything off the mark...on gas on two wheels I have handled...
and very tight...very maneuverable...very responsive...
Nice thing out here is... since it was designed to "just" be at the edge of what is considered an "insurable vehicle"...
they just can't do better than this bike right now....
the only thing they can improve on is distance...duration of charge...
It means licensing...
insurance...
all that fun stuff...
doesn't apply with this bike...
and the ferries too..
It costs the same as walking on with this cycle..
considering the ferries out here charge about $60 for a trip with only the vehicle and driver ...it makes commuting, trail riding and day tripping enjoyable...and affordable.
Hell...calculating the cost for insurance and gas ...alone... out here...I could buy 3 of these bikes a year...
they also make a road legal variant..which uses the exact same body ....that'll do 70 km / hr....but I have heard the distance is compromised from the speed expectation...
Not sure of the exact loss in distance..
But it is not relevant ...in a year or less it will be comparable ...
in two years the batt expectation will surpass ...the current norm.
all I know is I am as happy as a pig in mud...
I want a second one...now...as back up if one needs shop work...
I don't want to lose a day of enjoying this beastie..
