It will be a separate campaign, will launch after I ship the Keyboard Mod.

But design work has already kicked off. PCB is stablised, now solving FPC for the screen and front camera to connect to bottom. This is something I wanted to make for years. And we are getting closer and closer.

    Out of curiosity:

given that for lower the costs of development - like you explained above - you start from an already available PCB design,
how do you connect the keyboard to it ?

Did you manage to find an already available PCB that had a specific keyboard connector ?
Or did you re-purpose one of the available buses ?

Playing the waiting game for the funds to arrive on Michael's account. It's 15 working days after the campaign ends. Then will order the components and assemble. I'm tracking them everyday.

Bluetooth? Ahem thread in thread. This question is not for the tablet. So unqualified answer. Sorry.

Chen thank you for your response.
I am still learning and understanding that you must use the original design and circuit board.
And if I am understanding this correctly, you could add some of the changes mentioned by other members here in a 2nd or 3rd versions. Depending on how well this version is received.

The indiegogo site still allows the purchase of perks, but according to the post on Jolla's blog that crowdfunding had a cutoff date for 7/31. Can a guy still buy a perk to get a tablet or will it be possible to buy one after production?
