Aside from requiring "advanced knowledge of planetary protection" the right candidate needs to already have experience in "space programmes of national significance".
That's on top of a degree in physics, engineering, or maths. And the job also requires "secret" security level clearance.
Visited ground zero at World Trade Center this weekend. Very impressive. Recommend visiting if in NYC.
Here are a couple of shots of Freedom Tower and one outside the Oculus Mall I took.
Visited it a few times over the years and late last year. But it's no longer possible to super size in NYC. Freedom tower looks OK but I think it should been higher. Maybe it wasn't possible, but still. Saudi Arabia building a new building 1500 m high, now it's down to 1000, still beating burj khalifa...
I have never been inside freedom tower. Is it anything for visitors? Burj khalifa has a pretty cool elevator system.

Some of these tall buildings are amazing architectural and engineering achievements. Btw, Donald Trump once suggested that the destroyed WTC buildings be replaced with the same exact design. What was done is much more beautiful and inspiring. Did you know that since 1910 no buildings can be built higher than 110 feet (40m) in Washington DC. Some are a little higher due to technicalities. You can have a beautiful city without tall buildings. Even if you build it on a swamp!
