I wouldn't be surprised that he played a big part in corrupt dealings with the Australian government in gaining monopoly with telecommunications infrastructure, subsidies etc for Telstra. They do a crap job in maintenance & Australians pay ridiculous amounts for poor service; compared to the rest of the world (at least that's what I've been told).
In Canada we have a handful of banks and telecom giants that run everything...
Service is excellent...
But prices are not competitive ...
and options are few.
If it weren't for the CRTC which watches and then calls the telecom giants to task over their behaviour...and hence the government insisting they abide by CRTC rulings...
It would definitely be a nightmare choke-hold they would have on us here....

What do you mean with that link. Elop working for CIA now? And US government cofunded the Microsoft takeover to destroy Nokia and grant access to world domination for US companies such as google And Apple. And now Apple and google are paying extra fees to Microsoft for a job well done in different patent deals. Meanwhile all three of them giving access to CIA. Could be a great plot for a movie. Maybe I should call Michel Moore. The question is how the aliens are included in this mess...
Tried note 8 today an im note sure I like it. Pen was excellent but the formfactor and the plastic frame felt pretty cheap for a 1000 Euro/dollar/Sterling device.
Maybe I will learn to like it after price drop, but I doubt it.
