I finally installed ipython 0.8.1 with apt-get and I can start it from the commandline. (I have Python 2.5.1 (r251:54863) ) The first warning I get in ipython is "Readline services not available on this platform".
I would like to get readline working in ipython. Is this possible? Already available and I don't know how to enable it? Where can I get it?
