Their army is still on that territories and frequently takes people in exchange for money or kills them! They took our territory. I will stop using SFOS and promote other linux based OSs in Georgian forums and explain to others why they need to stop using SFOS. I helped a lot of people here and on Georgian forums to install SFOS and have aliendalvik running, also wrote my native language keyboard for my friends and Georgian forum members but if russia put's his hands in sailfish OS it will be dead to me!!! There is Kde plasma mobile, also ubuntu phone which is better already because it can connect to display and use my phone as desktop which sfos can't and probably will not be able ever. So russians in SFOS = FU SFOS!!!
I'm sorry but my replay is just for @matemana.

Possibly. But can they achieve something without the performance drugs? I feel bad for young Russian talents that have to fix the reputation of the current ones.

I think it is of interest to all if posted publicly. Hope my translator aided rusted russian still applies.

"I think you can read and understand russian.
It is not necessary to breed hatred here, especially when showing your ignorance in the matter. Study the story not according to your textbooks and TV, talk to your grandfathers, watch the movie "The Soldier's Father." For your information, the best ruler of the USSR from 1917 to 1991 was Iosif Vissarionovich. Then he was slandered by Khrushchev and others. "Thank you" ("Thank him"? alternate translation) for what is happening now, tell your government, which has been sold to the state department. And yes, we do not have everything right here, either."

Political discussions on a tech forum have never worked out quite right in the past. I beg you to all think twice before posting.

That is exactly the reasoning behind wars. Lame excuses. Go forward not backwards. Most countries have been bigger back in the day. That’s no reason to invade your neighbors.

Everybody think twice. And then twice again before posting.

And then one more time, before you send it to pichlo for approval.

Then you click post. Unless you include a meme, if you live in EU it must be approved by a magic filter. You live in Russia it’s not allowed. Click cancel. If you live in the rest of the world. You are allowed to post the meme I guess.

How to go on with sailfish os discussion after this?

Right, pull the censorship card between the lines Maan i do not want to play captain obvious, it may insult everyone who already knows.
If i read the rules correctly, our "forefathers" decided this place is not suited for political discussion at all.

To me that is one of the main beauties of TMO. I had fruitful discussions with people i never may have had if we checked political alignment first or met in places where social class matters.
This place restores faith in humanity for me in so many ways. The experience i have here is the opposite of the one i had when i actually participated in local politics.
If political matters need to be touched, like inherent in this post (i guess), please think twice if your post could trigger others "unwantedly". This is sometimes as easy as using expressions as "in my view / experience", "I think" instead of "They are...", "It is.." or "You are/must". Also pointing fingers and judgments on too few basis should be left to and in the tabloids imo.

    Two comments:

    1) What do you prefer: no Russian ownership or no SailfishOS?
Without this funding from Russia, there would be no Jolla and hence no SailfishOS. I would like to see more and more diverse owners and in particular more from Europe and Asia, but a Jolla bankruptcy would be worse, it's the last alternative to the Android/IOS duopoly.

    2) Recently Nokia got a 500 million EUR from the EIB to fund their 5G research. I wish a few percent of that would be spent on SailfishOS.
