AFAIK, bootloaders can't be unlocked so.........

Weel it might be possible then; HMD has published the kernel sources and now if 8 is unlockable the target is much closer.

@jbeemer01, if you have the 8 and are willing to experiment I suggest asking for advice on #sailfishos-porters channel on freenet, that's where the good guys hang on.

Dont have one. was thinking of getting one if sf could work on it. looking for a replacement for my n9 in case it decides to die on me.
