Yup ...it was crystal clear over me ...all last night...watched it at work every time I went outside.
And it really didn't look any different to any other bright moon we have ever had.
And I have spent my time enjoying many sunrises, sunsets, and full moons ...
There once was a time when we would just call it a "Bright Full Moon"...great for cross country skiing or going for a walk by...at night.
But no....
Now it is just ridiculous...
And I refuse to participate and enhance the ludicrous hype.

Exaggerated name or not, I can't help but think a Super Blood Wolf Moon appearing over the stadium would've helped the Chiefs win the AFC championship last night.
(But meanwhile in other eclipses, just 5 1/2 months to the July 2nd 2019 South American Total Solar eclipse. If you're in Chile or Argentina (or a boat, I guess) or nearby and need some eclipse viewing glasses, let me know. I've got some gently used and brand new adult and kid sizes. Basically a 1000000:1 solar filter (20 f-stops or so) in a cardboard frame. Yours for the asking if you're in path and need them . . .)

personally though I am not thinking of heading southward any more with how tumultuous the globe is getting...
and Dave...interesting how pictures OF this supposed "super blood wolf moon" came out before it actually arrived...
Did anyone see anything akin to this "doctored" photograph?
I sure didn't ...and I was up and at work and outside and watching it all night..
Just another bright moon is all there was...with plenty of reflected illumination...
