At first I thought it was just an extra battery, like a bigger version of the tchotkes my wife picks up and conferences. Then I see the front view, and I realize it's phone that's almost as thick as my N900 with the Otterbox.
At least you'd never leave the house without it -- as soon as you realized you didn't need to hike up your pants again, you'd know the phone was still sitting on your nightstand and not in your pocket.

You don’t need gorilla glass on your phone. You might need it on your floor though
