Actually, it sorta feels like you were lashing at me for some reason, while I was merely stating a fact: there's more advertisement in the "Android world", as you put it, than on TMO.
Whether people in the "Android world" care is moot: just because the Pro1 has been presented here doesn't mean every single TMO members is interested in it either.
In any case, can't wait for more news about the hardware... and of course Leste, SFOS and the likes (if there's actually more than those two in the works)
no, it's not like that at all. My point was that it won't sell just because it exists and it has android.
Irrelevant for now, all of them are known to the team, and they are working to provide you complete product.
You cannot judge an incomplete product.
If you want, ping me after I get the the device, and I’ll answer all of your questions.
Edit: If you so curious about the device, and want to provide a critical view for it, maybe you just need to attend next community meeting.
Thanks for that. Complete or not, I think it's good to highlight shortcomings so they can improve. Also gives a better vantage point of what's keeping them from release.
Trust me I would jump at the chance of seeing the device in person, but I'm just waiting for them to cross the pond. Hopefully not over the next few weeks as life has gotten hectic.
A lot of people on this forum might mistake me for being negative, but I want this device to succeed probably more than most. Regardless I'm just here to get info like everyone else and give feedback where I can. I've owned just about every qwerty Android over the years and have used Android exclusively for years now. The success of this device will bear heavily on software, slightly less on hardware. Design doesn't matter as much to success (ex: Google pixel line is terribly designed but still sells well because of software and hardware support from the big G). Although personally I think the device is too big, hopefully it handles smaller than the dimensions suggest. Coating and textures play a big role in that. But for the most part I think that ship has set sail. As an exercise I picked an LG V20 to replace my tired pixel 1 to see if I could handle a bigger phone in preparation for the Pro1. Side note: quad DAC should be in every phone, holy crap!
