okay wimax iis wireless broadband. it is a subscription based service which is currently being deployed by sprint under thhe name Xohm. avg.speeds are expected to be 1.55 mbps.
In layman terms it is your broadband internet anywhere youu go!

    Thanks mara!

Is the 'may be' still necessary?
Anyway, After the announcement there will definiitely be a price drop so asking him to hold on.
And thoughtfix hinted that there is something else other than wimax that is going to be announced? is it an addition of cellular radio?

May be... just because you never know...

I'm not aware of any other surprise announcements, but you never know?

Not seen a beta of Opera Mobile 9.5 yet. Opera Mini is very good, but compared to the NIT ... different league. The screen size makes all the difference. Opera mini is very fast though, due to the server side rendering.

One thing in a WM6 device's favour is the abilty to run TomTom. If you use SatNav a lot, the extra features are well worth it. Perhaps not so useful for occasional use.

there are a whole lot of browsers coming for windows mobile these days.

opera mobile, netfront, and recently skyfire. the last use a concept very similar to opera mini in that it has a proxy server that compress the page before its sent to the phone.

The N810 web browsing experience is far above what the iPod Touch and WM phones offer.

I've owned a touch and returned it and currently own a WM 8525.
