Just heard from Purism. I've been assigned Evergreen, which was my first choice. Should ship by March 31. Might as well have said April!

EDIT: One more thing. The email says this is my "estimated" batch. What ever that means...

evergreen. my choices were 1chestnut, 2dogwood, 3birch...

I got the same thing as above, my estimated batch is Evergreen. I don't remember what my preferences were except that I put C first. I guess I could search for that email, but being a masochist I use KMail where searching usually doesn't work.

I think what is happening is that the current state of the phone is not so good and that the incremental improvements from birch to dogwood will not cut it either so they are pushing most folks to evergreen in the hopes that they have worked out most problems by then. As a result, probably releasing a very small number of b through d. Wouldn't be surprised if they try to push or encourage folks to wait for next years version. Not trying to be negative. Just trying to figure out what's happening...
