Maybe the fact that they ordered one in the first place could already be entitled as somewhat crazy?
PS
Consider this as some kind of self-reflection.
Ordered one.
Still waiting for delivery. Will blame Santa Claus when not delivered before year's end.
And remaining Chen, Adrian & Co fan ... without any delay.
The voting is CES related so Craig asked on Twitter if F(x) will attend. The answer is yes!
The other more prominent contestants have thousands of votes already and many of those voters probably do not own the device and only show interest, taste or fanboyism?
Dunno if that competition is the right place to differentiate too much. It is more like, from the presented options, vote for the one you like most.
I do not own any of the other contestants devices and thus gave a very uneducated vote
I will because I know that the device is awesome from the previews and hands on videos. It really is a great gadget.
I inherently do not trust previews. Then again, we now also have user previews which are positive. Still, there could be slight differences between batches, or the reviews might be biased, etc.

If you don't do it for the product, why not just doing it for your fellow tmo user?
If they end up in the top 8, they can go to the CES and get more publicity.
These guys have put in their hearts to the hardware Keyboard device , which no other companies did in the last decade.
You won't lose anything to help a fellow user.

I prefer to not lie like that, even if the end result would be positive. I'd be "losing" my standards.
EDIT: I only just read the site's FAQ, and aside from it being not very clear, I think the contest is about "most likely to succeed", not best of the year. It's about devices shipping in Q2 2020. So I misunderstood the contest conditions and what I was voting for. Disregard what I said then, might as well vote for it then.
