how do i fix the aptoide emergency? #needwhatsapp - maemo.org

i know there is an aptoide problem, and i know jolla are recommending using an alternative store for android apks... but i don't know how to do it!

tell me how? bring me back a working whatsapp, i have three days...

i appreciate it might be similar to how i got aptiode working in the first place, but i've forgotten. only needed to do it once, a long time ago.

Just download the apk from apk mirror, apk4fun or similar websites from the browser.

Why don't you use the GENUINE APK from Whatsapp instead of pissing around with repacked unknown APK's from the tinterweb?

Last time I've checked there was no direct download but only through Play Store, thanks for the hint.

The best solution is to download F-Droid And with F-Droid you can install Aurora Store This allows you download any APK from Google Play directly, even purchased ones if you log in with your Google account.

No risk for viruses, up to date applications and the huge selection. All without Google play services.
