It's a bit difficult question really and much hangs on the implementation of the directive; In my opinion it might lead to problems if banks jump into action without really considering what constitutes a strong authentication method in the directive.

I'm okay with a TAN list augmented with a SMS verification as some banks use, but very much against solutions that tie the customer up by a requirement to have "an app" of one or other device ecosystem. That treads on the border of legality in my understanding as banking is considered to be a public service that should not be denied people based on choice of technicla platform.

Based on this, I cannot really vote as there is no option I could choose.

What about other countries ?

Well, we have two banks, both of them offer mTAN, but one is asking for money from the very first while the other has some for free each month.
Both offer using a TAN Generator which makes it less convenient to use, but is OKish. One is making it more a hassle to make us use their app. They ask for verification very often.
The other bank is less aggressive, asking for verfication only the minimum required.
