    Definitely a good replacement for my Xperia XA2, as is waterproof, have OLED display and the new processor

    agreed.

    I have the XA2plus with the 3560MAh battery, 64GB/6GB, and 6" 18:9 screen, so not a massive jump for me... but it is nicely timed.

    I appreciate the IP rating and the OLED, along with the perky CPU.

    I have bought SFOS for the xperia10plus to keep Jolla ticking along, but will likely never buy the phone.

    It's the new Xperia mid-range.

    And Jolla have either continued the one relationship that allows them to have a worldwide mass-availability hardware to use SFOS on, or...

    ...they're dead in the water again.

    This relationship matters, and if they lose it we all have a great deal more to worry about than whether we like 21:9 aspect ratio screens!

    looks like a typical sony midranger - worthy but overpriced vs the competition.

    i'll take it!

    The Xperias 10 III isn't out yet - and prices for the Xperia 10 II are still quite high (even the original Xperia 10 is still sold)

    But the Xperia 10 III is definetly the way to go with official SFOS. I hope we can buy a full licence including android support soon ;-) .

    i have an ongoing need for some android apps so i am hoping to standardise on a strategy that:
    1. buys the brand new xperia midrange for android, and then;
    2. installs SFOS on the device when support is provided.
    3. rinse and repeat

    i bought a 10 ii for £220 on ebay a few months back, and some time after the 10iii is available i will buy it and migrate android to that device, looking then at upgrading from the XA2 i'm running SFOS on now to the 10 ii.
