Would it be possible to try (compile and install) a gst-droid before that commit?
It's already using a way older version, like from 2.1.4, which im reasonably sure is the culprit.

At least it doesnt make too much sense to debug things without updating the media stack to the latest droidmedia and gst-droid

So it is there a chance to get media playback back under 3.4.0.24 ?

I tried to download the non-windy image from here, but the filename contains "windy" and the device just simply refuses to boot. The build logs also contain the word "windy" a few times, but only at the final packaging phase or something.

After the flashing TWRP says that there's no OS installed when I try to reboot, and sure enough, I get stuck at the SONY screen... Any tips? Must I just roll with SFOS 3.2 for now?

Okay, I stumbled upon something really, really frustrating!

I couldn't flash the boot partition (fastboot: error: Couldn't parse partition size '0x'.) and finally found this Reddit post, which hinted at downloading an older version of fastboot.

I am running Manjaro, which provides android-tools version 30.0.5, and that isn't compatible with my tablet - I guess the "dialect" it speaks with the device is too new, or the device is too old and not supported anymore.

I then downloaded version 29.0.5 from here and with that I was able to "fastboot flash boot boot.img" as expected.

I hope this helps someone else banging their head at the wall...

Yup, the artifact zip (3.4 for scoprion) that can be downloaded from the job page doesn't work. I tried to flash SFOS 3.2 again and it worked like a charm...

I upgraded it to 3.4 OTA, and now I'm able to get video playback using the Browser (YouTube 1080p with no dropped frames)! Still no luck with any other native application, though.

I've bought a Xperia z3 Compact (SGP611) recently and I would like to install SailfishOS, but links in https://gist.github.com/r0kk3rz/3df3...8fd15580819c34 are down.
I've tried to install SailfishOS with these files:
    AOSP 6.0.1: https://nokius.net/SFOS/scorpion_windy/aosp/
    Last image: https://gitlab.com/sailfishos-porter...evel-20201116/

But tablet stuck on sony logo when I boot it, please, can anyone help me?
Maybe someone can share files needed to install SailfishOS or tell me all steps must do.

Edit: Finally I solved my problem installing 3.2.1.20 and it works perfect

The same for me, it's a pity that screen is blank when I watch youtube videos with native apps
