I don't think the kernel 3.18 built in Sailfish X used for Gemini PDA supports the binder kernel modules required by Waydroid

"Ensure the kernel is built with puddlejumper,hwpuddlejumper and vndpuddlejumper binder nodes"

Is it possible, feasible to rebuild the kernel ourselves? Is there some rpm spec which can make the process easier

There are kernel sources available somewhere, but i guess 3.18 ia to old to backport any dependencies. Would be nice anyway, but you can play around with lxc containers...
