I have a n800, OS2008.

Today, I realized that my screen wasn't aligned (while handwriting texts). After using the "Align screen" from control panel, I realized what the problem was:

When pressed near the edges of the screen, all the alignment is perfect. When I go near the middle of the screen there is a 5mm displacement upwards.

any clue how to fix it?

Thanks

Ilia

ive noticed that , for example , when you want to click a button on a webpage and you have to click near the bottom of it to get it to work... is that what problem you are having?

I have Maemopad+.
I use this program to take notes, some of them typed, others handwritten. When in handwriting mode, I can clearly see where I press on the screen, and where does it recognize my press.

near the sides, these two values are about the same (+- 3 pixels; not a noticeable difference). In the middle of the screen, there is a 20-30 pixel displacement between where I press on the screen and where the system recognizes it.

On pocketPC's, the "align screen" function required five presses; 1 in the middle of the screen, so such a problem was never present. With the nokia, I have no clue how to fix it.

help, anyone?
