Well it really depends on what you need. Do you need a mini computer (n800), or do you need something more basic like a music player, video player, and so on (iPhone). And it isn't nice to call everyone a fanboy, just because your on one forum doesn't mean your a fanboy of whatever product it is.

A further consideration may be, do you need to multi task? The iPhone, due to Apple's restrictions isn't going to allow more then one application to run at a time (good reason too since it doubles as a phone!). While the n800 has no restrictions (you can run as many programs before you overload the CPU and Memory and it crashes or freezes up).

I wouldnt get an iphone right now since the next version of iphone should be coming out soon. The fact that iphones are so cheap now is a good indication that something new is coming.

With that said, I would take the iphone over the n800. Sure, you can run apps on the n800, but what apps do you plan to run? What killer app would u use on the n800 that isn't on or coming to the iphone? Will you take the n800 everytime you leave your house? Will you make use of company email and calendar ever?

I like my n800 but the device i'm still waiting for is a phone that can do it all. I just know that I dont want to carry multiple devices everytime I leave my house.

deneem4, Don't you think ONE thread of yours on this was enough??

(Especially as there are already numerous threads you could have read comparing the virtues of the iPhone and the Tablets.)
