The new o/s is great and far better than the prior o/s (much faster), but I have the following problems that I didn't have before:

1. browser lockups that freeze the whole device
2. spontaneous resets when browsing
3. sometimes the connection manager does not launch when I tap a favorite in the browser - nothing happens.

These happen more with o/s 2006 than o/s 2005. For example I sometimes freeze totally on this website. I hope the real version is more stable.

Of course it will be, this is a beta - mainly for developers to test and port their application to so that end-users'll have the third party applications when it's launched properly.

However, if you have reproducible problems, please make sure they're raised on http://bugs.maemo.org/

Cheers,

Andrew

It's an unstable beta. I'd say if you didn't know, it's not for you ;-)

Downloaded it last night, seems pretty awesome so far. Wish it had the thumb keyboard though. VOIP in google talk is much better then I thought it was going to be as well.

It is here, that is what I am typing this with. Just press with a finger on the screen and not with the stylus and it will come up.

I'm encountering the same bugs, so maybe they're pervasive. I expect they'll be addressed by the July update.
