You even managed to fix the incorrect download % issue that I was having. Now when I'm downloading a file, if I move to another screen and come back, the correct % of download will show within a few seconds.
This is the first version that actually shows the youtube logo and fills in the whites space on my N800 OS2007! Everything works...except it does not download the video (I set it to card # 1 in preferences).

can you run it from xterm and see if any obvious errors are shown ?

When you view a video, it's buffered onto your internal card in the mytube directory.

What I like about this app is that it is totally straightforward. It may be tempting to copy every feature of the YouTube site but then you'd get interface clutter. Maybe just a link to the original YouTube page to get to all the 'other' features that are not in the app itself.
