Had the same problem here, ended up rebooting using the buttons and it came back.

Scary, I figured that was the end of the n800, just after the warranty ran out, of course :-) :-(.

Isn't offline mode good enough?
I am not sure. I would think offline mode would be fine, but some airlines are really insistent that all devices be completely off...

Any other opinions on this?
