Hi,

Just a quick question I haven't been able to find the exact answer anywhere but I'm pretty sure I know what it is.

When I tether my phone to the N800 with bluetooth to get internet with the N800, Is the bluetooth service it uses called DUN? (even though it doesn't dial up my ISP) I just want to make 100% sure as I am getting a new mobile phone and want to make sure it supports this feature, Mainly because the dominate telco in Australia has removed this feature from its line of NextG phones to force you into buying USB modems.

So I am going with 3G instead and just want to make sure my new phone supports bluetooth tethering.

I have searched and couldn't work out the exact name.

Cheers

-Rip

There's DUN and PAN; DUN support is built-in, PAN is available as a package, and apparently works well enough.
