I turned my N800 off yesterday and when I turned it back on it connected to my wifi perfectly, the green dot popped up. I am receiving email alerts just fine. But when I open contacts I am not showing up as being online. If I try to chat with myself my avatar pops up with the green dot next to my pic but if I type a message it says I am not online....WTF???

Any thoughts?

yeah...i know...

well i just opened gizmo and chatted with myself that was as well. that i was able to do but even as i was chatting i was not showing up as being online. sigh....

i don't know how it happened because i didn't change anything...just turned the thing off and back on. BUT i just saw in the settings that i was not set up for googletalk but for jabber. so...changed that and now i'm back in business. just in case this happens to anyone else...thought i would post the result.
