Can someone tell me , would it be possible to , since i have removed the file to disable the light sensor and therefore the keyboard lights whenever a key is pressed, write a script to manually turn the keyboard backlight on and of...im thinkin something like the bt on/off program? cause when the light comes on when sunlight or anything is hitting it at certain angles makes it hard to read.

I concur with Munky's thoughts. I would just like to manually turn on/off the keyboard backlight whenever possible. I don't care about the battery drain, I just like to see the keys at night especially when using it in the car as a navigation device.

I agree it would be nice to just switch it on and off if you like... maybe like as an added option to the popup screen you get when you hold the power button down.
