Considering that Diablo is going to allow for over the air downloads with
updates to individual parts of the OS .... why is nokia not releasing it now. If they want to patch the small bugs later they could always do via an over the air update without having to reflash. Considering it has already been a long while since the last update i think we need the update asap.

Somewhere on this forum i read that kontorri has been using Diablo since a long time which i think means that it is ready and they are only ironing the bugs.
Especially since the future of wimax and the tablet is not yet confirmed , can we just have the firmware update?

Diablo has been existing and in use for a long time simply because the starting point was the previous SW release which has been labelled "Diablo" and let to evolve since then.

I'd imagine a) regressions (which would have the iTT community up in arms) and/or b) legal/paperwork. Release cyles tend to be that way, all in good time. Heck, I'm still using Bora, and might never actually end up using Chinook, but rather go straight to Diablo.

If Modest is really supposed to be the default email client in Diabolo, I know why they don't want to release Diabolo yet.

No, no, no..

That answer is only available to non-profit OSS projects. This doesn't qualify, sorry.

Well, thanks.

But imagine you are a third party and didn't write your post. Read it objectively. Then jump to the most reasonable conclusion.

Since when has Nokia ever let a little thing like that stop them?
