You completely agreed with the suggestion that no one would buy a like new unit over a new unit to save four bucks; you just wished you'd been able to detect a little more activity on your long-range EEG immediately before he posted.
Perhaps you meant to say there is no warranty to the buyer, since as Gemniii pointed out, the warranty is to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.

Oh, and one quick question: What in the world does "The warranty is from the product" mean? The product will pay for any repairs it needs?

You seem to be saying that what Navi said was a reasonable conclusion, but he shouldn't have said it without thinking?
How do you know what/how much he thought before posting?
Obviously, we all misunderstood your first post to Navi. You completely agreed with the suggestion that no one would buy a like new unit over a new unit to save four bucks; you just wished you'd been able to detect a little more activity on your long-range EEG immediately before he posted. Our responses were based on our foolish presumption that when you replied to a comparison of your prices and new prices with the notion that "It doesn't matter if it's unopened or not," you were implying that there needn't or shouldn't be a price difference.
Oh, and one quick question: What in the world does "The warranty is from the product" mean? The product will pay for any repairs it needs?
