Ok, I got an N800 because I thought it would be a great communications and life management device. More capable that any Palm or Windows pocket device I have ever owned, but not as capable as my full laptop.
I got it and a Nokia 6555 phone. The phone I got because it is 3G capable, and stereo bluetooth capable, making foe a great little addition to my N800. Oh, its a nice phone too

I am usually a Motorola man because they have reasonable contact app.
Well, I have learned that Nokia is quite consistent. Their contact manager in the phone sucks just as much as it does on the IT's

I am not a developer, but if Nokia cant pull their head out of their but and write a good contact app, I might have to start a project to get the job done.

I just find it amazing that a group of designers and developers would be so darn intelligent with the UI and sooooo STUPID with the contact manager. Do they not know that contacts are much more than an email address and a nickname???

Frankly I'm kinda cranky that after all this time, they STILL dont know how to build a contact manager worth the storage space it consumes! I won't be buying another Nokia phone, thats for sure!

I cant find anything yet for a contact app that integrates well with email and gtalk, like the built in app does, and has the features that any intelligent person would put into a contact manager, like details for the contact... Address, business address, fax, alternate email...
Has this been started yet?
