A TiddlyWIki (see tiddlywiki.com) is a one-page micro-content wiki. You get all the interlinking and ease of use of a wiki, while everything resides in a single html file. No server software needed and it's built to live on your local drive.

I've used tiddlywikis (and the variant server-hosted pages at tiddlyspot.com) for a couple years. Not on the Nokia IT, however, since Opera doesn't allow Javascript to save changes to a tiddlywiki page — locally or the versions that save to a server.

I've looked through the forums and seen that several people have successfully used tiddlywiki with OS2008. See, for instance, this post:

http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...2&postcount=22

But on my N810, with OS2008 2.2007.51-3 and microb, I'm not able even to load the page at tiddlywiki.com.

I see this only:
<div id='javascriptWarning">This page requires JavaScript to function properly<br /><br />If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer you may need to click on the yellow bar above and select 'Allow Blocked Content' You must then click 'Yes" on the following security warning.</div>
I wonder — Is anyone else having this problem?

Although Opera wouldn't save changes, at least it would open a tiddlywiki page.

But I can't load any tiddlywikis at all in microb.

Help, insight, much appreciated.

Roger

PS: Of course Javascript is enabled in the microb settings and of course I've tried unchecking it and then re-checking it.

Update:

I can actually access tiddlywiki.com and save changes to a local file using OS2008 and microb.

That is, I can on an N800.

On an N810, I can't.

Now what could be the difference between the two devices — the N810 tweaked considerably more than the N800 — that could account for this?

My changes? Or hardware? (How?)

Have to say, I'm baffled right now.

Roger
