do you see it ?
I didn't.. now I know is there and removed it (it's at the end of the Exec entry, right BEFORE Icon).
Damn it.. removed it and now the icon is there where it should be
If I will not be able to upload to maemo extras, I will, in the meanwhile, put it in my own repository.
So you shall wait no more than the week end ...
If I install from your repository the latest update do I still need to install in this order?

Hmmm... somebody's got a broken parser... I'd expect; but maybe that's the spec for .desktop files; whitespace at the end of a line is supposed to be interpreted as the beginning of the next line.
Couldn't I change the color for the pen in the version before? And if I use the menu "Color" and select a color, xournal segfaults.
But yeah, icons do work now!

yeah I knew that, but i was sure i did not add them.

You should not have the Color menu. It's hidden by default.
Anyway, what do you mean by "version before"?
Thanks for reporting that the icon's working and for the bug report.
It'll be fixed tomorrow.
Anidel,
I tried today's version. the colors don't work for me. if I click on the black square icon at the bottom a color menu pops up. When i click on the red color and then OK the box at the bottom shows red but the pen is still black. Also the highlighter change from yellow to some grayish color. Also in the color menu when it pops up on the left I see a box with shades of grey. If I click on it a message pops up and says color cannot be changed.
Is it a simple matter to have the window pan to follow text being entered using the text tool or should I request this upstream?
This is fairly Maemo/NIT specific. I don't think that this would be an issue with Xournal on the desktop or a full sized TabletPC since you have more real estate. But on the Nokia tablet, constantly having to hit the scrollbar to find where I was typing the text and to know when to line-break (because there is no wordwrap) was a pain when I was using Xournal to type out a document (mixed with diagrams and exported to a PDF :] ) the other day.
