Thanks for the bug report. I believe I have corrected this issue in the latest build. I'd appreciate if you could try it and make sure... I could only verify that my change didn't seem to break the English locale.

I just posted a new calend build that should fix the bug with weekly repeats not working when running with a non-English locale setting.

I have just set a week event with no errors and the event was added to my Agenda.

    Thank you very much.

Is anyone else having an issue with -- what I am assuming is calend -- resetting the home screen (i.e. applets being turned off, status bar returning to default) at midnight?

I can go into settings > control panel > panels, hit OK, and everything goes back to the way it was, but it's an annoyance. Home screen applets have to be reselected though.

I uninstalled calend and the issue is gone, but I'm not sure if it is calend specifically or calend and some other app conflicting.

micrometer (and anyone else having this problem): It seems to be alarmd (maemo's alarm subsystem) or an incorrect usage of alarmd that is causing the resets. Some people have reported the same occurrence with statusbar-clock, and I had it myself with modest. As far as I know, there has not been a solution proposed other than "stop using the app that causes it." This is still just my conjecture, but every app that seems to cause the problem uses alarmd.

I haven't noticed this on my setup (n810 with latest firmware update). It would be useful to know what your OS firmware version is... maybe that would provide a clue.

    FW rev. 2.2007.51-3 (n800)

EDIT: In response to fiferboy's comment, I use Modest and SBC, but have no issues with those; and since removing calend, have not had the issue.

Odd that I appear to be the only person using calend with the issue. Hmm.

micrometer: It seems to be very hard to reproduce, which makes it extra hard to track down. I think I am the only person who solved the issue by removing modest, and I have never had it happen with SBC. You are the only person so far that has been affected by calend. I am at a loss to explain any of the crashes, except that they seem to be caused by alarmd.

    Same version as me.

I did notice that my todo's in calend didn't transfer over to the to_do app on Sunday. Thinking about it now I'm not sure that calend ever woke up for its midnight housekeeping. Hopefully others will chime in if they are noticing strangeness too.

Does the importing of Google Calendar work yet? I had installed earlier (before I reflashed) and I didn't see a option to import Google Calendar. Though there was one for .ics.
