does anyone know the possibility of being able to pair the ps3 controller and having an app to assign button functions to it for use with games? i dont care about the six-axis stuff , just want the buttons to be able to be used.

BlueZ has some Sixaxis stuff in the source. Not sure if that carried over to Maemo.

Try to pair it and see? Suggest you look here: http://www.pabr.org/sixlinux/sixlinux.en.html Compile sixpair.c and set the controller to detect a new Bluetooth master. Then pair as you would normally.

If all goes well you should have a /dev/js0 device somewhere.

I'd work on it myself but I don't have a PSŁ

I was just going to ask the same.. It would be nice use PS3 controller with emulators at N800/N810.

With BT wireless connection and maybe there could even be little software that you could use configure buttons.

Use it at direction pad and middle button of Internet Tablet.

If there is other BT controllers those would be intresting ofcourse too.

There are other BT controllers; the Wiimote is the most popular with at least 3 projects going.
